The mission of the Coldwater Community Schools Foundation is to support programs and initiatives that promote excellence in education and high achievement for all Coldwater students.

In order to fund educational opportunities that fall outside the district's operating budget and to support programs and initiatives that promote excellence in education and high achievement for all Coldwater Community Schools' students, the CCSF will work with the purpose of ensuring the growth of this fund through private donations.

The concept of establishing foundations to support special innovative ideas has been used in America for decades. In the early 1980's, as the result of changes in the federal Internal Revenue Service regulations, public schools districts were allowed to establish education foundations. Coldwater is one of the few communities where this has not been implements... until now!
